My favorite video of the year was Oprah and The Black Eyed Peas (Today's Gonna Be a Good Day)
It made me so happy watching it and hearing the song

Friends kept sending it to me and it got forwarded all over the internet.

One of my fav commercials for 2009 was Dos Equis: The Most Interesting Man In The World.
I love this commercial because they used an older non-celebrity who didn't even seem to care that he was the most interesting, and didn't really care that he was drinking the Dos.

Memories of Sherlock

Ok

I just can't say enough about how good the acting is in this movie

Well they kept me going and glued to my seat
Casting superb

Cinematography great

Editing lovely

Scenery wonderful

Maybe they didn't need Rachel McAdams too much...but I am glad she got a chance.

I really like Mark Strong so I was glad to see him

The onscreen chemistry between Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law was great.

They seemed like great friends.

I like when guys are macho and can be friends.


p.s. The plot reminded me of the plot of the Young Sherlock Holmes movie...

Up In The Air - Not the best movie of the year but I really liked it.
George Clooney's character reminded me a little of me

Precious- Every Good and very sad- deserved all the nominations it got

It's Complicated- Very funny and sweet. I really liked it

The Road - Very good and sad.

Sherlock Holmes- Very good and very fun. I love Robert Downey Jr.

Potente

Wow I really like Franka Potente

I saw her in the Bourne movie but then I saw her in The Princess and The Warrior

It was there that you get to see her full range in acting.

They did a lot of close-ups of her face and you could see shifts in her expression ever so slightly, almost imperceptible.

It drew you into her and made you invested in her character.

You can tell the other actors were able to feed off of her when they were doing their scenes with her.

Aside from that, I really liked the story.

Great story.

Amazing acting all round.

I was mesmerized for the whole thing.

The pace of the movie is not very slow but not so fast either.

It's sad, happy, funny, angry, sad, scary and dramatic all at the same time...

I love this movie.

You can tell that the writer must have put some effort into character development and the scenes as well

It's a must see

I highly recommend this movie.

I wish I had dozens of foreign film on my shelf.

Tropics

Tropic Thunder was a funny movie but i have to say that Robert Downery Jr. and Tom Cruise were amazing with Robert being sooooo Hilarious!

I was laughing at all his expressions and everything he said. I love him so much. I have seen the movie three times.
Tom Cruise dancing and jamming out to gangsta rap was amazing.

Crafty

This year I am giving away the Christmas crackers as presents

Last Christmas, Wila and I made one in like one minute flat, so I thought this year it would take no time at all!
WRONG!!!!!!!

WRONG!!!

First I got the containers

Wrapped them

Stuffed them with hard candy and chocolate (no toys)

Wrapped them again
Tied them

And then was done

It took a lot longer because I had to be so careful with the paper
and then it wouldn't twist the way I wanted so I had to pinch it etc
It was a lot!

I finally delivered a couple to Wila for Christmas. In rememberance of what we did last Christmas :)
