Tiny, tonight at story time we were reading the planes book

Before I started reading, I asked you "Why are you so amazing?'

You looked at me and said "Because Mama loves me"

Story without words

I think this helps with story telling

Tiny tells me what goes in the picture

After we draw it, we tell each other what story is happening

We can also change or add bits every time we look at the book
So our crayons put in a lot of work

Most of the stories are Tiny and Me

I try to give him is own adventures but when he looks at the page, he insists I draw a MAMA in the next picture

So I do

Tiny tells me what ought to happen in the story and I write it

Tiny, we got some pics but yesterday we danced in rainbows
We were supposed to go out and I was getting ready
You were in the kitchen and you started to scream

I run out and all over the floor and wall- Rainbows!

We had a laughing fit
Reading planes
Lightning caused another fire...
Was it Lightnig Mcqueen?

We fiddled with your big train
It works! We squealed!!!

We share apples :)

We won some more wheel of fortune and 500 tickets at the wheelspin

We sat and watched the rain come down, then went to find the purple flowers

We counted to 100 while changing your clothes

We looked at the Australian monster trucks

You read the Planes race book to me while I was resting.

Map context

So many of the books talk about different countries

SO it was time to get a map

Anytime we hear a country name in a book, we refer to a map. Food and the counties the they are typically found, cook and grown, is a good starting point

Tiny has gotten really good at locating a lot of the countries

So NOW we can have our adventures and he knows exactly where he wants to go

He is really into finding Spain right now
Must be because of his football

Two tiny bulldozers

Tiny has two tiny bulldozers
Different colors.
He keeps one that he likes best, the other he gives to me
Every day.
Out of all the toys he has, every day, these two tiny bulldozers
If I put mine down anywhere, he always finds it and gives it to me

I asked him
Why do you always want mama to hold this bulldozer?
He said
I love you

So It's important to him
I've been holding my bulldozer everyday since we won them at the games place together...
