Scouting

We went out scouting for locations for our shoot and found some adorable ones

When I am getting to know people I find that the books on their bookshelves are very telling
My host is a super cool guy

I decided to explore this place at the end of the conference day.

I went to the river front, checked out the visitor center, and then did the historic houses walk.

Ok.

It was...

Unbearably hot!

What on earth???????

After the riverfront I had to go back to the conference center and sit in the cold air and drink water.

I could tell people were wondering why I came back.

I had just passed all of them on my way out and they (for sure) were going to the dinners and parties afterward

I did the entire walk back to my hotel too after historic.

The thing is this...

On the map the blocks look very short but in reality they are so long, especially when you wear wedge heels and its broiling and you are in conference clothes...

YEH I SAID IT!

Kyaking

This was uber uber fun

I was the only one wearing a life vest at first and I didn't like it

I took it off later, when I felt the water wasn't so deep

This was one of my best outings so far

Lots of cool people and just soooo relaxing

No stress no drama

Oh I was so happy rowing up and down stream by the springs

The swing rope at the springs was oh so tempting

But I didn't dare!

I wanted some stuff for the wall and so I just made this

I used some boxes that furniture came in and duct tape

...and Voila

I have some more stuff, but I must say Duct Tape is MAGIC

Which surprised me and turned out to be amazing
