Finally

Well the film SKIN finally came into rotation and I saw it
Let me just say it was sad from the get go and by the end I was emotionally exhausted.

Even the director Anthony Fabien was saying in interview that he didn't want the film to be too long because he didn't want the audience to suffer from 'empathy exhaustion'
He was right.

My goodness
This was sad.
Let me just say that Sophie Okonedo was BRILLIANT.
Alice Krige and Sam Neill were also very good.
An A+ for this film

The Last

The Last Picture Show was choc full of movie stars

Here's the thing
It threw me for a loop.
It was made in the 70s but because it was shot in black and white it gave the impression that was shot in the 40s
So when some of the graphic appeared (nudity etc) it was shocking
I couldn't get into it even though it was a good movie
It was just a weird feeling

You actually keep thinking : "They don't film stuff like this in the 40s"
