You know those times when you see something heavy and you need to look at pretty things and hear pleasant music afterward?
Well at those times I have a bank of pictures that I took
However magazine content is good too

I love O mag
But I also like catalogs
I don't really ever get anything out of them though.

I just like to see how they pair clothes and stuff
Magazine recipes are also good too

They are pretty and just give that overall happy light feeling :)

A friend lent me this a while ago and I skimmed it them

I think a lot of people will learn a lot from it
Not that people are unawares, just sometimes when it's down in black and white, you can internalize it better.

Always liked Paul Newman. Liked him as a person, liked him as an actor
Seeing him in Sweet Bird of Youth was one of the lovliest times

Man he just roped me in like nobody's business.
He was really young then so they had him shirtless a fair amount

BUT they didn't need to. The acting alone was enough.
He is always just enough.

Then and now

When I was younger I saw 'The Day After'.
I saw it again recently and I had a different take on it

It's a 1983 film but of course I saw it way after it came out.

Man when I saw it again, I thought it kinda dragged on. I think it would be an effective ONE our movie. The first hour was really unnecessary.

I guess they were trying to intro you to some of the main characters and have you identify with them but eh...I could have done without it.

They were also trying to prep you for the upcoming incident by pitching in radio and tv broadcasts of trouble between the countries

When the incident actually occurs that's when it gets more interesting

I imagine that modern day Preppers (people who prep for diferent eventualities like disasters) must have watched this movie.

I saw some of the preppers on youtube and the really cool and interesting ones are the ones who try different agricultural pursuits.
