Ticking

I still love this show Scandal

Fitz was upset for the whole episode, and I felt bad for all of them. Fitz, Mellie and Olivia
Sad, jealous, angry, forlorn,  at wits end, and all of it directed toward Olivia

It was a sad night

It's very stressful
That's why everybody got into it
This is really really good writing
Thanks again Shonda Rhimes
I really want to see how this plays out
I have to say though, this show is emotionally exhausting to me. From what I hear, many others feel the same way. I keep thinking about it and it's weird.

Reading Blitz

All were intereresting

I have to say they were good too.
I didn't really close any in boredom from the getgo
 Some were funny
Some dramatic
And I got a kick out of the  packaging of some of these
The best part was that they were entertaining
I was relaxed
 I gotta say though.
In the Frank Langella book I was only interested in the Rex Harrison and the Ann Bancroft stories.
I thought he should have just written about himself
 Meanwhile I learned

Had a good laugh
Time does really fly by though

EH

Ok I also watched this movie Emporte Moi

Well, it was just ok

I wasn't drawn in. I talked on the phone while watching it

I got up and cut some fruit
I wasn't as invested

It just seemed as if they had a story written on paper and tried to get it on film jut as it was, no matter how they had to do it.

It just didn't flow right or feel right.

I didn't undertsand why they did some of the things they did or why I should care
But I watched it anyway
It wasn't bad
It was ok. I saw another film called A Story of Women, which was much better though. Check that out.

A film

On the weekend, when you are indoors because of the rain, and it's dark outside, this is the film to watch

Au Revoir Les Enfants

I really like films about WWII and this is a good one

It's about the friendship that develops between a catholic and a jewish boy who are attending a private boarding school during the French occupation

It goes along at moderate pace and the friendship takes a while to develop which makes it more realistic

The movie is also very good because it shows how life went on 'as usual' during the occupation, save for black market good selling and german police checking people's papers in odd places like restaurants at odd times

It's interesting because obviously it's a school for wealthy boys and their parents visit occasionally

While the French are accused of being too complacent about the jews by military officers, there are scenes which shows their disdain for the very same

So at least there there is that balance.

Anyway it ended up being very sad, but of course that is what you can come to expect with this type of film

I highly recommend it
Very well acted.

Very good film
Watch under the covers while the rain comes down outside
