Signage

I saw this sign on a trip and adored it

I'm going to print copies and use them as stickers for my stuff
I will change the words of course

Triste

I loved Bonjour Tristesse
I don't know why the critics at that time didn't like Jean Seberg

I thought she did as well as any actress of that time
Very earnest and fresh-faced

She is no Deborah Keer or Audrey Hepburn but nobody else was either...
I liked her and I like David and Deborah as well.
Poor Jean, she spent her whole (short life), listening to silly men and having affairs with the silliest of all of them all the time...I bet that was what depressed her all the time.

I like that Louise Bourgeois likened the story to her life.
Although I do think her story was more horrendous and traumatic to her.
Influencing all her art.

Wow ok

So this movie I really loved.

I won't say the name but when you learn of it just know that its not anything too lewd or gross or else I probably would not like it

There is a good underlying story

Marianna Palka and Jason Ritter are kinda brilliant in this

Marianna shows that she is a great talent in filmmaking

She used a lot of Long Shots in the flim so that we can watch the action and the acting from the distance that we need to to enjoy what is going on and to understand it fully

Jason is sweet and good in this film

I never thought much of him till this film

I hope to see more from Marianna and Jason in the future.

I think they are partners or in a relationship maybe.

They worked on a very very very low budget.

Actors mostly worked for free and they shot in their own apartments

I just love it and will watch it again.

Technicolor

So me in the giant Grecian garden.

This is how a story book starts

And I adore it

Yes I adore everything

:)

Nouns

People, Places and Things

I'm still into 'the pretty'

I just want to see these things all the time and bask in the comfort of it

I can't get enough these days...

Long discussions

I've been having long discussions with a friend of mine about how people don't seem to take pleasure or find joy in, or see the romanticism in the little things in life, like a long leisurely walk, sitting on a wooden bench in a field, or having a croissant and coffee.
I have been watching a lot of old movies and just enjoying the time.

I am really mellowing out to this song that Lauren Bacall sang in one of her movies and Sinatra covered.
How Little We Know
Oh man I love it
I love it
and I still adore Cary Grant!
Sigh...I haven't met any guy that matched his elegance :(

Then

I am listening to
Frou Frou
Let go

And Time "begging for all your sympathy"

Then Imogen heap
Just for now
My fav of the bunch
Because I am watching The Holiday once again and I love this movie and the music.
OMG........

Currently listening to

123- lets make a deal
Make' em say my name
Lovin the extreme
Now are you in?

I dunno what it is about this song

I didn't know who sang it till I looked it up

Then I got really into it

"Three is a charm, two is not the same"

Dance around while cleaning or washing dishes

Perfect song

Mindless and fun

"what we do is innocent"
Just for fun and nothing meant

"Or three, or four"

"Living like this is the new thing!"

"Are you in?"

In The Artist Studio

I walked into two studios

This first one, the guy and I talked for a long time and exchanged info

He was interested in painting me he said :/

I dunno

But he was a nice person and obviously very talented

NEXT I stepped into a dream

This was the cutest and most chic art studio I have ever been in

The guy was really nice and kinda was laughing at how excited I was to be in his studio

His table top and brush holder was so artsy in and of itself.

A little contrived but so beautiful
He got me gooood!
